*Updated* Video Analytics

Hey will you do me a favor? Will you watch both of these videos? Comments are welcome, but it’s more of an video analytics experiment so just watching them would be awesome. I will share the results in a blog post next week.

Update: Wistia is freaking awesome. I was just trying to see how it worked by getting some views with the above blog post and am now obsessed with this hosting tool, their analytics and features. I cannot wait to use this for clients so we can test video performance, learn what to tweak, create calls to action, and give them more bang for their buck. Here is an overview of how the example videos did:

There is so much more useful data – the above analytics overview is just a small sample. Knowing which parts of a video people skip, when they stop watching, and what they re-watch has got me so jazzed.
And, thanks to those who watched! Especially you, Google user in Mountain View, CA! You almost watched both of them all the way through. Thanks for confirming the fact that shorter video content is better.
