Genius House Video Editor Internship

Genius House Media is accepting applications for a Video Editor Intern. We are a small (but very mighty) team seeking a college level student or recent graduate in the field of film, advertising or communications, with a passion for video production, specifically post-production, and marketing applications. This unpaid internship is 10-20 hours/ week and will last one semester, with course credit given through a college internship program. (A paid internship will be considered for non-college level/ recent graduate applicants). 

*NOTE: You will want a sense of humor to work at Genius House Media. Speaking fluid sarcasm is critical.*

Qualifications: 

Knowledge and understanding of social media and digital marketing is imperative. Attention to detail, a positive go-getter attitude, and excellent communication skills are important to succeed in this position. Must be able to work both with supervision and autonomously. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred and graphic design capabilities are a bonus! 

Responsibilities: 

-Assist with editing projects for clients

-Cut + upload stock footage

-Create content for GHM social media 

-PA on video shoots 

-Assist with day to day operations

-Research trends + sales opportunities
